In soft body armour, pack weight and flexibility decide whether protection is worn. In hard armour, plate weight and thickness decide whether it is carried. In vehicle protection, armour mass comes out of payload, range and mobility. In every case the material sets the ceiling on what your design can achieve.
ULTAR™ is supplied as roll material and built up in layers — stacked into flexible packs for soft armour, or pressed into rigid panels for inserts and vehicle protection. The same sheet, more or fewer times, to your requirement.
Multi-layer SQ701 packs, used alone or in hybrid construction with other ballistic material classes. Flexible, light, back-face deformation control.
Soft body armourPressed multi-layer HQ710 panels for hard armour plates — as monolithic laminate, or as backing composite behind a ceramic strike face.
Rigid protective insertsPressed HQ710 panels in larger formats for vehicle protection, where mass budget against steel and aluminium is the design driver.
Vehicle armour panelsThe UD laminate market rests on a small number of producers. ULTAR™ gives you an alternative — held in EU stock, sold by an EU commercial counterparty, with a lead time you can plan around.
ULTAR™ is a SQUARED brand, manufactured by UDM Industries Ltd. in Israel and held in stock in Poland. SQ701 and HQ710 are the first grades of an expanding range, and your qualification records stay valid against the same product codes as the range grows.
You deal directly with the people who can act. Quotes, samples and technical questions are answered by whoever is responsible for them — usually the same day.
We can indicate a starting point for your construction from the data available to us — grade, layer direction, where a hybrid may help, and when the answer is to use less of our material rather than more. Never less than the threat and a reasonable safety margin require. Design, validation and certification remain yours.
Send us your application, target threat level and volume. We will come back with full ballistic data under NDA and, where the data allows, an indication of a starting point for your construction. Samples are supplied for your own qualification testing — paid, unless otherwise agreed.
